MEET COACH MARK

Coach Mark grew up in Winthrop and played from Little League through high school before continuing at Suffield Academy in Connecticut. As the starting catcher, he batted .396, then walked on at Franklin Pierce University as a catcher and utility player. He earned the Coaches Award as a sophomore while learning the game under Coach Jayson King, now head coach at the University of Dayton.

After several debilitating injuries changed his playing path, Mark turned his focus to coaching and player development. Following college, he helped run a baseball facility with Franklin Pierce alumnus and former coach Sean O’Brien, now Head of Baseball Operations at Butler University. Today, Coach Mark develops players from Little League through the college level with individualized instruction in pitching, hitting, position-specific skills, speed, agility, plyometrics, and complete five-tool development.
